Track Name: Timothy Toker
(Abowd)

Timothy Toker
You're joking too damn much
Look at her in her eyes
She miss you

And every single time you kiss the fire
You're burning
She's concerning
Aren't you learning anymore?

Timmy believe me
She's leaning towards the door
Does she like what she sees?
You don't know

But every single night you stand outside
For hours
With rolled up flowers
Climbing towers to the moon

Timothy Toker
You're joking too damn much
Before you break in two
Go find her

Timmy she's yearning
You're turning on the dime
You'll dance the break of dawn
Go find her
Track Name: Socks
(Schwartz)

And all the time with yours and mine
His and hers, the old design
It was fun for a while but now it's not
And I don't think you know just what I got
When I got warm, they got cold
A disorderly sight not to behold
The wicked were with wondrous ways
But never taught me just how to play

With seconds to win and seconds to lose
I should always stay but sometimes move
These things I think are thoughts of a thief
But as corruption moves up it gets harder to prove
In the office chair I swivel and turn
Doing my work and starting to learn
Entries and exits from this maze
I'm counting down to the end of days

Why can't I seem to find my socks?
It really stinks, though it happens quite a lot
Where do they go when they're not on my feet?
Do they cry or do they sleep?
Do they die, ride away in a hearse
Or is it only this second verse?
I don't know but I'd like to find out
Do you think you could bring that about?

Listening to my stereo play
My lights turn off when I say
My computer screen is my only friend
But it's my enemy in the end
My brain is alive, my brain is dead
I think I heard just what they said
It doesn't matter, it's only the phone
And I work better when I'm on my own

I turn and wink and wink and turn
The promotion I get I didn't earn
My emotions escape and beat me down
They don't like it when they're around
My brain is alive, my brain is dead
I think I heard just what they said
Something something, it's only the phone
And I work better when I'm all alone

Why can't I seem to find my socks?
It really stinks, though it happens quite a lot
Where do they go when they're not on my feet?
Do they cry or do they sleep?
Do they die, ride away in a hearse
Or is it something much, much worse?
Track Name: Walk On By
(Abowd)

Walk on by
White ribbons in your hair
And if you stop to say hello
Then let my tongue not stay stagnant
Until my time is up and you've gone to get you some

Shine brightly
Like starlight in the night
I'd almost rather see you go
And keep my hopes from igniting
For I'll be a fool before last call has come and gone

Oh I could try
I could climb out on a limb
But what if I can't fly?
No better I
Heave a sigh
Let that dream sleep through the night
It's still alive

Walk on by
Who ever looked so kind?
But when you stop to say hello
I'm a gazelle from your lion
Except you don't chase me long cause you've gone to feed you some

Oh I could act
Matter fact
But I bet you'd see right through my, my, my
No better my
Parting smile
Let that dream enjoy the night
It's still alive

Yeah keep my hopes from igniting
So they don't self-destruct and I never get me none

Walk on by
With no one on your arm
And if you stop to say hello
Track Name: A Little Love
(Abowd)

I met her down in Jersey
Five dirty warehouse miles we had walked
I told her that I loved her
She told me that the hotel door was locked
So then she shook me by the hand
And said “Call me when you're more than just big talk”

Told her my fair Irish skin
Well it just ain't akin
To your hot Israeli sun from up above
Gotta find me some shade
Or I might just melt away
Give this lowlife leprechaun a little love

A couple women later
Ran into her a half mile from the shore
I swear she stripped right down to nothing
I tucked away and stared down at the floor
I didn't hear no footsteps
Just a far off splash. You know how loud I swore

Said my fair Irish skin
Well it just ain't akin
To your hot Israeli sun from up above
Spray some SPF
I ain't got none left
Give this lowlife leprechaun a little love

I heard a few months later
She caught a plane to European lands
Made up my mind to follow
As soon as I could get myself the chance
She met me by her driveway
And I started going on and on about my plans
But she shut me up with those lips
She grabbed my hand and dragged me off to bed

Said my fair Irish skin
Well it just ain't akin
To your hot Israeli sun from up above
I've got ten thousand freckles saying
I ain't never been laid
Give this lowlife leprechaun a little love
Track Name: Teacher School
(Schwartz)

I'm trying to reach you, my friend
Don't you want these means to your ends?
Cause I see you float on and out
Don't you want to get turned around?

Cause I see this happen every damn day
I know what they think and I know what they say
“That I'm not worth nothing, I'm wrong every way
But that's who I am, and that's who I'll stay.”

Said that's not the right way to go
Trust me son cause I know
I'm the same as you
Just without all the blood and tattoos

Said “you don't know nothing about me and my friends
We got the streets while you got the pens.”

Don't talk like that or I'll send you away
Said that's where you'll go, and that's where you'll stay

Oh I'm tired
Tired of lies
And I cannot work
And they cannot win
So I'll sleep now
Sleep till the end
To pay my own bills
And let it begin
Again

I want the rains to come wash me away
Take up my roots but save what they save
I think it's important, though wrong every way
But that's who I am, and that's who I'll stay
Track Name: If That's What You Had in Mind
(Schwartz)

So this is our house on the corner of Maynard and Third
Don't look like much, and it ain't if you haven't heard
But this is where we live

I'm locked up in a room, though that lock don't really work
I'm tired, I said I'd fix it babe, but damn my head it hurts
From you all damn day

And every night there will be something to fight about
Of that you can be sure
And every time there will be something to cry about
Make you crawl back to my door
We could go through to make me hate you
If that's what you had in mind

Don't care about where you go, don't care about who you see
Don't care if you've got another man who’s got some strange disease
Cause you and I are through
Track Name: Nine to Five
(Abowd)

It's nine o'clock
They're headed out five floors below
My window's closed but everything they say
Faint whispers of a lonely holiday

And in my mind
I saw time
How I let it tick tock away
Who can say?

The glass of wine
You left behind
Did you think I'd drink you away?
Who can say?

It's five o'clock
In some seedy downtown bar
You stumble in, you're carried out
You're blown away
May morning brighten up your masquerade

So take your time You've taken mine
Waiting on your empty embrace
What a waste
Track Name: Roger Bentley
(Schwartz)

Deep inside of his own dark secrets
That's where the devil found his gun
Now I don't think that he went down there looking
Least not for destruction

But we all find our own way

Roger Bentley is a man like any other
He sings a healthy baritone
He sings on Sundays and he sings to himself
But he needs something to call his own

How many Rogers do you know?
Well now, where could we find?
Hey man, tell me what you do
Tell me how you can

Babe won't you tell me your name
Now that we've been acquainted for some time
You've always been around the ground I stand upon
But I don't know a thing about your life
Track Name: Left Behind
(Schwartz)

Looking in my rear view mirror
I can see the road
And the cars, and the people
Standing in the smoke

Some people say that I don't care
I will say to them
How right, but not fair

Brothers and others
Can carry on my name
But people, like sheep all
Walk and talk the same
So if you want to leave behind
Something that is worthwhile
Make your plans to take a stand
You carpenters and pedophiles

I roll down my powered window
To let in the wind
I'm cooling off and feeling great
But I can smell the sin

Some people say get up and help now
I will say to them
It's hard with my flatscreen turned up so loud

Brothers and others
Can carry on my name
But people, like sheep all
Walk and talk the same
So if you want to leave behind
Something that is worthwhile
Make your plans to take a stand
You bricklayers and audiophiles
Track Name: For Lullaby
(Abowd)

It seems like anytime I try
To keep my eyes shut without you
Can't even last a minute till I have you beside me
Babe I need you with me tonight

No I can't seem to settle without you
I startle and shout to the emptiness I'm lying beside

So I beg, pretty lady
Lullaby, your pillow's waiting
No I can't face the dark on my own
So set yourself beside me tonight

Lullaby, Lullaby
Hold me in your arms
Track Name: Ah, Adrienne
(Abowd)

[Dog bark]
When we were young
She'd lick me out of bed and out the door
I'd strap on her leash
And we'd explore the great wide circle

But now my legs have grown
While she – bless her – has stayed the same
The circle's shrunk for me
For her it's everything

Outside in
Inside out
I'd do anything for you
But I wonder what else is out there

Ah, Adrienne

She's got two eyes, two loyal eyes
They'd never let me down
And when she paws at me
Or nuzzles up, I want to sing

But am I wrong
To want to see more than I've seen before?
She wants the same four left turns
What if I want out?

Look at me
Sit with me
I don't want to make you change
I just wonder what else is out there

Ah, Adrienne
Track Name: The Weeping Willards Theme and Fanfare
(Gottlieb)

It was a long time ago when the earth was new and history was young
One man with a plan and only the sweater on his back was born
Willard was his name, music was his game, and he was destined for greatness

Who cares about that?
All that matters is the Weeping Willards are back

Well his hair is red and parents are dead
Not really, they're standing right there
He's the brains, he's the brawn, he's everything in one
He's Danny, Danny Abowd
He loves those Beatles

Well they were brothers throughout life, although not when they were born
They're JIsaac
They play trumpet, bass, guitar
But all they really want to do is play the drums
Maybe someday their siblings will marry And they'll become Brothers-in-law

With their powers combined they form the greatest band on the planet
Well by now you probably know who I'm talking about
Why yes, that's right
We're the Weeping Willards!

Oh yeah everyone cares
Look at us, yeah the Weeping Willards are here
Track Name: If I Woke Up One Day
(Schwartz)

If I woke up one day and my skin just wouldn't tan
I'd say that that's just fine, I'll take my freckles any day
If I woke up one day and my two legs were different lengths
I'd say that that's all right cause it's just part of who I am

If I woke up one day and my wrist wouldn't stop to hurt
I'd teach myself to sing and tell myself that there's still music to be made
If I woke up one day and my eyes wouldn't start to work
I'd teach myself to listen to all the sounds
Track Name: Her Name, Isabel (Bonus Track)
(Abowd)

Her name, Isabel
Her smile casts a spell
Over all who come to gaze upon her face
Her home, far away
Her purpose there, to stay
And bless those around with beauty, charm and grace

Someone
Impotent and strange
Once thankful for the time that still remained
Now empty

She's strong, innocent
And quite intelligent
Carries honesty and love in open arms
Her eyes, deep and warm
And shapely as her form
Both as joyful and as sad as those she charms

Somewhere
Tearful and ashamed
A head is bowed, a tender heart she claimed
Now broken

She feels no regret
Her heart and mind are set
And she turns from memory to face the west
Back east, far away
Another cries today
Because the first can often prove to be the best

And miss Isabel is better than the rest
Track Name: Pictures and Photographs (Bonus Track)
(Schwartz)

I don't know what it is that I see
I don't know what it means to me
I don't know what it is that you know
I don't know if it matters
So I'm trying hard
I'm trying hard for you

I don't know what it do to me
I see a person but I don't see
I think it's weird but I guess it's neat
It makes me sit so uncomfortably
In my chair
My skin is tingling

No matter what we can never win
I think I'm wrong because I'm in
I like them all cause I love your skin
So there's no winning just where you've been
And I want to know
Just what it means to you

So I'm trying hard
And my skin is tingling
